manage limp hair

No one is ever happy with the hair texture that they have. Those with big, frizzy curls wish that they had soft, straight hair. And those with long, limp hair wish they had mass and volume.

Long, limp hair is also known as baby hair and those who have it are not thrilled. This type of hair texture has no body or volume and can only hang limp.

This type of hair texture creates a problem for those who have it because it is not easy to find a complimentary hairstyle. People with long, limp hair need to find a hairstyle that is going to work for them by creating volume. There are a few different ways to go about adding volume to long, limp hair.

One of the easiest ways to create volume is to use hair care products such as mousse. Hair products such as mousse will give the hair temporary volume. To use mousse properly, apply it to the roots of freshly washed hair. Work it into the roots and style.

A second way to add volume to loose, limp hair is to dry the hair upside-down. Flip the hair upside-down and apply heat from a hair dryer predominately to the roots. Once the hair is dry, flip the head back up and continue to style.

People with limp hair can also go to the salon for help. If a person’s hair is limp, they may want to stay away from a long look with no shape. Try cutting the hair into a shorter style that will add volume. A shorter, textured hairstyle can add the appearance of volume and mass.

Try a new hairstyle

that does not require too much styling. Limp hair typically does not hold a style very well and all the mousse and blow drying in the world is not going to eliminate limp hair. Try adding color to limp hair to give it more of a presence.

For all of those individuals who envy people with fine, straight and limp hair, think again. They too have problems maintaining their hair and finding a suitable style.
