heart broken

0
he broke your heart, right? After telling you he loved you and calling you pet names like baby and cutie? Yeah, I know he lavished you in compliments, only to put himself down so you would stroke his fake low ego. Did he tell you that you were beautiful? I bet he promised you a personalized song. Or maybe he’d always mention how he was lying in bed and wished you were there. He dragged “I love you” out of you, didn’t he? Yeah, don’t deny it. He would talk to you last thing at night and first thing in the morning. He constantly mentioned losing sleep over you, every night, but we both know he slept like a rock. He made you love pictures that were just sort of “bleh” before. Did you delete those pictures after he broke your heart? Yeah, me too. All of your friends hate him now, don’t they? Remember how happy they were for you? They warned you. Just remember, it’s okay to cry. And referring to him as “asshole” is perfectly expected. Because, trust me, you’ll end up talking about him just as often, if not more, than before the break up. There will be the “one time”s and the “I remember”s, and once you think you’re over him, watch out. You better keep your eyes closed in the hallways, because I promise you, the next time you see him, he’ll be all over some other girl. A little part of you will want to warn her, but nobody will blame you for hating her and for blaming her for your pain. Yeah, you’ll compare all guys to him, because aside from the man-whorish, heart-breaker thing, he was perfect. He was everything you had ever wanted. Or maybe you made that up. Maybe, the second he started to show interest, you made up this perfect guy in your head, and he just happened to be just like him. Listen, you will find the perfect guy for you just like everybody says you will, and it will be soon. Okay, so I didn’t believe it either, but I’m starting to.The most important thing though is don’t let him know he hurt you. Don’t let him know he could have you back in a heartbeat. Don’t give him that satisfaction. Make him think you’re completely happy. When he decides to wave at you like nothing ever happened, wave back, sure. But don’t smile. Make him think he meant as little to you, as you obviously meant to him.

SAD STORY

0
BF: Pagka graduate natin pakasal na tayo.
GF: Paano pag hindi ako naka-graduate?
BF: Sige ka, maghahanap ako ng iba

*Tapos na graduation, hindi nakagraduate si boy*

BF: Congrats, sorry di ako nakagraduate
GF: So? Akala mo kung sino kang mgaling bobo ka naman pala.
BF: Will you marry me?
GF: Ayaw ko sa loser!
BF: :'( Salamat at congrats, napaka bobo ko nga siguro, lalo na nung pinagpalit ko ang testpapers nating dalawa :'(

Some people are really something. May iba mahal nila ang isang tao dahil sexy, macho, gwapo, maganda, matalino,or mayaman. But what if kung mawala lahat yan? mamahalin pa kaya nila? Para sa akin, di bali ng hindi gwapo, macho, matalino nor mayaman kung mayaman naman sa pag mamahal, mabait, maaruga, at hindi tamad sobrang sapat na sa akin.

Haay how sad naman this story.

The Holidays

4
I appreciate the guest post, Lindsay Valdez

I googled Glen alley direct tv to check out tv options in my area. I'm busy getting my apartment ready for my family to visit for the holidays. We don't agree on much, but we all love the classic holiday tv that comes on every year. Oh man, when I was little, my sister and I would watch the Grinch Who Stole Christmas, the Snowman, Rudolph, and that one with the mice. What was the name of that one? I totally forget. There's also A Wonderful Life and Scrooge. It's funny, though, because my family didn't watch Jimmy Stewart or Ebenezer. We watched the musical Oliver! when I was growing up. Every Christmas Eve. If I catch that movie on tv now, my heart hurts a little. I'm transported to the house I grew up in, with the Christmas tree immediately behind the couch, and the fire on. Our favorite character was Fagan. So amazing! The holidays will certainly be different now, but I was hoping can start some new traditions!

Maine

0

Contribution by Kennith Griffin

What comes to mind when you think of Maine? When I learned that we would relocate to Maine for my husband’s job, all I knew about Maine was that it was a state that was almost in Canada and the home of L.L. Bean. I imagined it to be rustic and woodsy. I thought the people from Maine spent most of their time canoeing for fun. We have been here for six years. When I first got here, I realized that my perception was wrong. They had electricity, direct tv biddeford me, and running water. The residents didn’t spend most of their time canning or canoeing. The state does have its woodsy and rustic areas, but the landscape is absolutely beautiful. There are beautiful rolling hills, the sea, and hardwood forests. Apart from the natural beauty of the state, many cities offer the modern amenities, I was worried I would be leaving when we moved. One thing that I particularly love about Maine is the people. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I think the people of main may be more hospitable than the people of the Southeast!
