take care of your piercing

When you get a piercing the last thing you want is it to get infected. Try these steps to take care of your piercings.

steps:

When you first get a piercing try as much as possible not to touch the area at all with bare hands. If you must touch it try to use gloves.

Use an alcohol pad to clean around the area and to get off all the dried skin and crust.

Put on gloves and turn the piercing ring around in the hole to keep your skin from growing up around your ring.

Place a piercing antibiotic or neosporin on the piercing and twirl ring around to get the medication all through the piercing. This will stop an infection from occuring.

When showering wash the area of the piercing with anti bacterial soap Try not to get any in the hole as it will cause burning. If you do just simply rinse the soap away until the burning stops.

Leave your piercing in for at least a month before taking it out to prevent the hole from closing up. Remember certain areas grow up a lot quicker than the others.
